Physiotherapy for Support at Home providers
Arlovo Health is an independent mobile physiotherapy service in Adelaide, open to subcontracted physiotherapy arrangements with registered Support at Home providers.
Arlovo Health is not a registered aged care provider. Services are delivered under a written subcontracting agreement with a registered provider, which keeps responsibility for the client's care. Bookings aren't taken directly from older people or their families.
Clinical scope
Physiotherapy at home and in the community for older clients who need help with walking, balance, transfers, strength and staying independent.
- assessment and goal setting at home
- walking and transfer practice, at home and in the community
- balance assessment and falls-risk management
- strength work for daily function, with a written home exercise program
- practical guidance for carers and care workers
Coverage
Mobile physiotherapy across Adelaide and surrounding areas. Wider travel may be possible depending on the circumstances, so please ask.
Appointment times are worked out with the care partner for each referral.
Referrals and communication
Care partners can send a referral through the referral form, by phone or by email.
An assessment and goal summary goes to the care partner after the first visit. Notes are kept for every visit, and progress reports are written at agreed intervals, in the provider's format where that's reasonable. Incidents and changes in a client's condition are reported through the provider's own procedures, and scheduling changes are coordinated with the care partner.
Onboarding and contracting
Supplier onboarding
These can be provided to a provider's onboarding team:
- Ahpra registration as a physiotherapist
- certificates of currency for professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- an NDIS Worker Screening clearance, which is accepted for aged care worker screening
- ABN details
- acknowledgement of the Code of Conduct for Aged Care, and completion of the provider's induction and training
Other requirements, such as vaccination records, are confirmed with each provider.
Rates and contracting
Rates are agreed in writing with each provider and include travel. The fees shown elsewhere on this website don't apply to Support at Home work.
A first conversation usually covers how referrals are allocated, where and for which clients you need physiotherapy, reporting time, late cancellations, insurance requirements and invoicing.
